Koi Couple for 2006

Loren and Tracy Prucnal have been members of the Niagara Frontier Koi and Pond Club since 2000 and have been active members for the past five years. They have participated by helping with the pond at the Erie County Fairgrounds and Loren has become the club expert at installing bottom drains. Loren has helped several of the Club members including myself in the design and building of their ponds, he is an expert at handling a skidsteer and excavator.
Loren has chaired the last four club Koi Shows and the last two proved to be the greatest fund raiser’s for the club each year. He also persuaded AKCA and ZNA Judges to come to Western New York to judge the shows each year.
Loren has served two terms as Vice President and two terms as President of our club. Tracy served the club as a Board Member for two years. They are very dedicated to the club and its projects, one year they participated in the planning and assembling of an exhibit at Plantasia right up to the birth of their first child. They are also members of the AKCA and the MAKC and have the only formal Koi pond in the Club.
The AKCA Koi Person of the Year award must be a Couple this year, because of the help and support that they give each other.
