Our pond is 12’ x 12’ and approx.. 4 feet deep which allows our fish to “winter” in familiar surroundings. Located in a rather secluded backyard, the pond is surrounded on three sides with various foliage. We have 3 koi and some 20 goldfish of various species. There must be something in the water because they seem to multiply like crazy.
We are very fond of our fish, and their presence has greatly enhanced the quality of our life. Our koi and goldfish appear to get along very “swimmingly”.
