Pond Construction: My first pond was 2000 gallons and back in 2005 with a great deal of help from Loren Prucnal the pond was expanded to 10,000 gallons using EPDM liner.
Filtration: Two – four inch bottom drains feed two vortex sediment chambers (which removes sediment and organic matter). The water then travels via a 6000 gph pump, which feed and Aquadine bead filter (which removes particulates). The water then passes through an 80 watt UV light and then on to a green machine which returns the water to the pond. I also have 3000 gph pump in my skimmer which feeds two 55 gallon biofilters then back to the pond.
