The annual Koi Show was a very warm experience for all who attended. The temperatures were in the nineties all weekend. Mike Masterson once again treated us to his Friday night buffet for all who showed their Koi and helped set up on Thursday night. Mike Masterson and his crew were very helpful in assisting us with all aspects of the show including many of the auction items. Once again Ray (Kingfish) Lucas still recovering from surgery earlier in the week was a great auctioneer and as a Vendor Rep provided many auction items.
Niagara Aquarium Pet Shoppe and Tetra sales also provided auction items. The Auction was held on Sunday and was the smallest turn out we ever had and many pond items went for rock bottom prices. I would like to thank all the club members who braved the heat foe the auction and stayed to help empty, clean and dry the show tanks. Helen Robert’s won the 47 gallon bow front aquarium package (she said she only bought six tickets). Congratulations to Helen, it will look good in her veterinary clinic.
