Construction… Our pond which is designed around a Japanese theme is 50 ft by 30 ft x 3 ft deep. It contains approx 20,000 gallons. The pond is has 5 water falls which flow from a up flow biofalls constructed of a bed of lava rock.
The waterfalls and streams are powered by 2 pumps, each 5 hp and rated for 14,000 GPH.
The biofiltration system is home brew using a 300 gallon septic tank.
Out pond contains approx 50 Koi, Comets, Catfish and Goldfish.
